" Sanwaad Citizen Portal is CIDCO's another ambitious step towards the direction of digitization and customer-friendly functions which will be surely beneficial for citizens during this lockdown period. Through the medium of this portal, CIDCO's all online services will be available collectively at one place and at one click", said by Shri. Lokesh Chandra, Vice Chairman and Managing Director, CIDCO while inaugurating the online portal Sanwaad on 1st June 2020. On the backdrop of the present lockdown to prevent the spread of COVID-19, the inauguration ceremony of this portal was held through online medium via video conferencing.
During this occasion, Shri. Ashwin Mudgal, Jt. Managing Director, Dr. Prashant Narnavare, Jt. Managing Director, Shri. Ashok Shingare, Jt. Managing Director, Shri. Nisar Tamboli, Chief Vigilance Officer and all Head of Departments were present through online medium via video conferencing.
Before this, while recognizing the need of time and to fulfill the objectives of e-administration, CIDCO has digitized most of its services and made them available on online medium. In this, services such as online RTI, Online Complaint Redressal, Online Payment Gateway, various services of Estate Department, Water bill payment, Service charges, services provided by Vigilance department, etc are included. Due to online medium, all related processes of these services are quicker and transparent, which at last benefits the citizens.
Previously, citizens had to login separately for availing various services. But now through Sanwaad Citizen Portal, they will have to register only at the beginning for login and can access all the online services through that login. There is no longer need to visit CIDCO's office or it's nodal offices, as citizens can avail any services on one click through this portal by staying at home itself.
Similarly, facilities like tracking status of the application, online bill payment, etc. which were previously available through separate online services are also included in this portal. This one stop portal will prove to be highly beneficial for the citizens especially during this tough lockdown period.
