Dr. Sanjay Mukherjee appointed as CIDCO’s new Vice-Chairman and Managing Director

Dr. Sanjay Mukherjee, an IAS officer has been appointed as new Vice-Chairman and Managing Director of CIDCO today on 19 August 2020. Before noon, he accepted the post’s responsibilities from Shri. Lokesh Chandra, former Vice -Chairman and Managing Director at CIDCO’s Nirmal Bhavan office at Mumbai. At that moment CIDCO’s Shri. Ashwin Mudgal, Joint Managing Director, Dr. Prashant Narnavare, Joint Managing Director, Shri. Ashok Shingare, Joint Managing Director and Shri. Nisar Tamboli, Chief Vigilance Officer were also present. Before being appointed at CIDCO, Dr. Sanjay Mukherjee was working as Secretary at Medical Education, Food and Drug Administration and Department of Cultural Affairs, Maharashtra. 

Dr. Sanjay Mukherjee, a 1996 batch IAS officer of Maharashtra cadre belongs from Nagpur. He secured his (Bachelor’s degree in Surgery) MBBS from Nagpur’s Government Medical College, Short-term course on Public Finance from Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad, Chartered Financial Analyst in Finance from Institute of Chartered Financial Analyst of India and Degree of Public Administration and Finance from Toronto University. Before appointment at CIDCO, Dr. Sanjay Mukherjee worked as Additional Commissioner (Projects), Mumbai Municipal Corporation, Commissioner at Maharashtra State Excise Department, Joint Managing Director at Maharashtra Airport Development Company, Commissioner at Jalgaon Municipal Corporation and Additional Commissioner at Nagpur Municipal Corporation.
